Blue cloud:
The document exists in the cloud storage, but it isn't taking up space on your computer. To access it, just click to open the file normally and the document will download. You need to be connected to the internet to access these documents.
Green check:
This document has been downloaded to your computer and is taking up local storage. You can access it without needed to be connected to the Internet.
Sync arrows:
This document is currently processing changes, either made by you or someone else. If a file has this symbol for a long time, it could be because you currently have the file open, a very large file is syncing, or a lot of files are stuck in a queue.
Solid green check:
These are files that you have marked as "Always keep on this device". These files are always taking up space on your local computer storage, and are always available to you even without internet connection.
If you need to clear up some space on your computer, you can right click on files or folders and choose “free up space”. This will remove the locally stored data of the file from your computer, but it still exists in the cloud storage and you can still access it. The file just needs to “re-download” before you can open it again.
Red X:
This file or folder cannot be synced. Click the blue cloud in your taskbar to learn more about the problem.
